How your donations help us
Your donations really count, thank you for your contribution.
Here are just some of the areas within our provision that your donation will support.
Work Experience
- We provide valuable work experience for learners in a variety of different organisations.
- We work in partnership with Haystax Inclusive Farm Experience Centre, where our learners will be given the opportunity to engage in voluntary work, such as: – looking after animals, working in the lodges, looking after woodland walks, working in the café, as well as overseeing gym and sensory areas.
Trips and Activities
- Our learners have the opportunity to engage in outdoor activities. ‘Ford Castle Adventure’ offer our learners group activity days and overnight stays.
- Learners engage in a range of activities designed to develop confidence and independence to support individual and group success.
Project Minibus
- After years of fundraising by learners, staff, trustees, friends, family and local businesses, we have finally acquired a minibus! We have purchased a Vauxhall Vivaro, this is a 9-seater minibus which was delivered to us during May 2022.
- To ensure that we also have wheelchair accessible transport for our learners, we have access to the local Community Minibus, based in Consett. With your donations it will enable us to facilitate participation in many exciting activities and experiences that will greatly benefit our learners. A huge thank you to all who have contributed!
