Tutor

I have recently joined Learning for Life in September 2022 as a tutor, after 20 years’ experience of working with children and young adults in different SEND provisions.

After graduating in Music and Communication Arts I qualified as a teacher and worked for a specialist Autism provision.  Alongside teaching National Curriculum subjects I coordinated Music throughout the school using music as a form or communication, relaxation and enabling students to play instruments and learn about the subject through different mediums.

I have experience teaching EYFS, National Curriculum and in post 16 education where I have taught Horticulture, Community skills and independent living skills.

In my free time I enjoy playing the Tenor Horn for a local brass band or a bit of time relaxing on the river with a paddleboard.
