Sarah Padley

Sarah Padley joined Learning for Life in September 2022, as a Tutor working at our Consett provision based at Herbert Street. She had the privilege and pleasure of successfully supporting children and young adults with a range of profound, complex needs in an education setting for 15 years.

Sarah has extensive experience of enabling young people with additional needs to access a range of activities and events in the local community. Although Sarah is new to Learning for Life, she has enjoyed personal and professional links to the college since its beginning.

Sarah states:

I believe in embracing and celebrating a person’s individuality and that communication, care and positivity are the key to a meaningful college experience.
I am committed to delivering a rewarding education experience, which aims to build on strengths, nurture new skills and provide a passionate approach in preparing young people with additional needs to take their place in society.
